MY LITTLE ISLAND CURRICULUM

UNIT: Unit 7 Time to Eat

OBJECTIVES:
  1. To identify farm animals vocabulary
  2. To sing the songs “A cow says moo” and “Animal Sounds Song” and “I like the flowers”
  3. To review the previously learned songs


TARGET SENTENCES:
  • A (cow) says (Moo) sentence structure
  • Circle the ……
  • Where is …….?

TARGET VOCABULARY:
Cow, duck, goat, hen, horse, sheep

GAMES:
Teacher blindfolds one student and then selects a student to make an animal sound. The blindfolded student tries to guess who is making that sound. All the students have a shot.

DRAMA:
The new animal flashcards are introduced and students make the animal sounds according to the card they see.

LISTENING:
Students look at the animal pictures and they point to the animal they hear through listening activities.

WORKING IN THE BOOK
Pages 68 and 69 of the student book were studied this week.
