WEEKLY ENGLISH BULLETIN

MY LITTLE ISLAND CURRICULUM
UNIT: Unit 6 My Body
OBJECTIVES:
  1. To practice new body vocabulary and new structures
  2. To practice listening comprehension
  3. To practice speaking
  4. To review the song “Watch me dance”
  5. To learn the song “Good morning”

TARGET WORDS AND DIALOGUES:
Arms, body, feet, hands, head, legs, This is / These are my (body/arms). They are /It is (yellow)

WORKING IN THE STUDENT BOOK:
Pages 54 and 55 were studied.

DRAMA:
Students acted as puppets and showed their body parts through the song “Watch me dance”

GAMES:
  1. Flashcards are put on the floor and students choose the correct card which is called by the teacher.
  2. Teacher calls out a body part and increases the number of words one by one. Students try to remember the words and the order of the words.
  3. One or two game: Body parts were called out and students told the number of that body part.

ART ACTIVITY:
An art activity: Cutting and reassembling body parts 

SONGS:
1. “Watch me dance”
2. “Good morning”   http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=U9Q7Y3t4m3g

HOMEWORK:
Pages 42 and 43 of the activity book are the homework pages for this weekend. You can see the help videos on ingilizcesevgisi.blogspot.com. The videos will be uploaded on Saturday morning.
