WEEKLY ENGLISH BULLETIN
MY LITTLE ISLAND CURRICULUM
UNIT: Unit 6 My Body
OBJECTIVES:
- To identify
body vocabulary
- To learn a new
song “Watch me dance”
- To listen and
understand the story “Billy the robot”
- To learn new
language structures
- To role play a
story
TARGET WORDS AND DIALOGUES:
Arms, body, feet, hands, head, legs
WORKING IN THE STUDENT BOOK:
Pages 50-51-52-53 were studied.
STORY TIME:
Students listened to the story “Billy the robot”
DRAMA:
Students role-played the story “Billy the Robot” They acted as the
characters of the story and repeated their dialogues.
Students acted as puppets by singing along the song “Watch me dance”
GAMES:
- Flashcards are
put on the floor and students choose the correct card which is called by
the teacher.
- Students show
the correct body parts on Billy on SmartBoard system.
SONGS:
“Watch me dance”: It is the 32nd song of the Songs and Chants
CD of our book.
HOMEWORK:
Pages 36, 37 and 40 of the activity book are the homework pages for this
weekend. You can see the help videos on ingilizcesevgisi.blogspot.com.
The videos will be uploaded on Saturday morning.
