WEEKLY ENGLISH BULLETIN
MY LITTLE ISLAND CURRICULUM
UNIT: Unit 4 - Playtime
OBJECTIVES:
- To practice
listening comprehension
- To practice
new vocabulary and structures
- To practice
speaking and asking the question “Is it ….?”
- To practice
counting from 1 to 100.
- To listen and
act the story “What have you got in your pouch?”
TARGET WORDS AND DIALOGUES:
Dolly, teddy bear, scooter, bike, boat, car, paints, puppet, train, Is
it (blue)? How many (cars) are there? I have got a (teddy)
WORKING IN THE STUDENT BOOK:
Pages 36 – 39 were studied.
STORY AND DRAMA ACTIVITY:
Students listened and watched the “What have you got in your pouch?”
story and then they role-played the story by repeating the dialogues of the
characters.
GAMES:
- Computer games
about toys were played on SmartBoard system.
- Teacher places
the chairs in the middle of the classroom and then plays an English song.
When she stops the music students try to sit down on the chairs. If they
stay up, they are out of the game.
- Teacher plays
one favorite English song and students dance. When the music stops,
students have to freeze. If they move they are out of the game.
SONGS:
Songs we have learned were
repeated.
HOMEWORK:
Pages 28, 29, 30 and 31 of the activity book are the homework pages for
this weekend. You can see the help videos on ingilizcesevgisi.blogspot.com.
The videos will be uploaded on Saturday morning.
